Objective

Create a timeline infographic in Canva showing every Olympic gold medal Pakistan has won, from the first in 1960 through to the most recent Olympics.

Important Note on Accuracy

Look up Pakistan’s full Olympic history online before starting. Verify the year, sport, host city, and athlete or team details for each gold medal. Note: Pakistan’s Olympic gold medals have been in field hockey - confirm this through your research and update if anything has changed.

Instructions

Step 1: Research

Find:

• Every year Pakistan won an Olympic gold medal
• The sport
• Host city and year of the Olympics
• Names of key players or the team captain
• Final score if available

Also record which Olympics Pakistan attended but did not win gold - include these as context markers on the timeline.

Step 2: Design the Timeline

For each gold medal entry:

• Olympic year and host city
• Sport
• Captain or key players
• Score in the final

Mark gold medal years with a gold star or trophy icon. Mark other years of participation with a smaller, neutral marker.

Step 3: Build in Canva

• Use a vertical or horizontal timeline layout.
• Use Pakistan’s green and white as the main colors.
• Add a hockey stick and ball icon to each gold entry.

Required Elements

• All Olympic gold medals with year, sport, host city, and key players.
• Full participation history shown for context, with gold years clearly distinguished.
• Title: “Pakistan’s Olympic Gold Medals.”
