  • They cover the different parts of a teacher’s work with technology.
  1. Understanding ICT in Education Policy: link your work to the wider plan.
  2. Curriculum and Assessment: use ICT in what you teach and how you check it.
  3. Pedagogy: use ICT in how you teach.
  4. Application of Digital Skills: your own hands-on tool skills.
  5. Organisation and Administration: managing the class and its records.
  6. Teacher Professional Learning: keeping your own skills growing.

The six rows of the matrix are the aspects. Each one names a different part of a teacher’s job. Together they cover the whole picture, from understanding national plans down to managing daily records.

A teacher grows through the three levels separately in each aspect.

Understanding ICT in Education Policy

Knowing the goals your country or school has set for technology, and connecting your classroom choices to those goals. Your work fits a bigger plan rather than running on its own. Read more

Aspect 2

Curriculum and Assessment

Bringing technology into what you teach and how you check learning. This is about the content of the subject and the ways you measure whether students have understood it. Read more

Aspect 3

Pedagogy

Using technology in how you teach. This aspect is about your teaching methods and choosing tools that match the learning you want, so the lesson improves rather than just looking modern. Read more

Aspect 4

Application of Digital Skills

Your own hands-on ability with the tools. This covers how well you can operate software and devices and weave them into daily work without friction. Read more

Aspect 5

Organisation and Administration

Managing the classroom and its systems. This includes arranging devices, grouping students, keeping records, and running the practical side of a tech-supported room. Read more

Aspect 6

Teacher Professional Learning

Keeping your own skills growing. This aspect is about how you learn, connect with other teachers, and stay current rather than stopping once you finish training. Read more
