Assignment - Infographics - 072
These instructions serve as general guidelines. Adapt them as needed to suit the specific requirements of the task or creative vision. Avoid following them rigidly without considering the context.
Objective
Create an infographic in Canva that gives viewers an overview of the best places to visit in Pakistan, covering its natural beauty, cultural diversity, and historical landmarks.
Instructions
Find reliable information about:
- The geography and tourist destinations of Pakistan.
- Popular types of destinations:
- Mountains and valleys (Hunza, Swat, Neelum Valley).
- Cultural and historic sites (Lahore Fort, Mohenjo-Daro).
- Religious landmarks (Faisal Mosque, Badshahi Masjid).
- Beaches and natural attractions (Gwadar, Clifton Beach).
- Key highlights of each location: activities and unique features.
Use trustworthy sources such as travel blogs, tourism websites, or books.
Plan Your Infographic
Organize the content into these sections:
- A title such as “Top Places to Visit in Pakistan.”
- Main content organized by category:
- Northern Areas (mountains and valleys).
- Cultural Heritage.
- Islands and Beaches.
Design in Canva
- Divide the infographic into clear sections with a label for each category.
- Use related icons and images: snowy peaks for northern areas, mosques or forts for cultural landmarks, waves for beaches.
- Use green and white (Pakistan’s flag colors) with complementary shades.
- Select bold, readable fonts for headings and smaller fonts for details.
- Use bullet points or short descriptions for each place (for example: Swat Valley - trekking and green scenery).
Content to Include
- Key facts such as “Pakistan has 5 of the 14 highest peaks in the world (K2, Nanga Parbat, etc.).”
- Annual tourist figures if you can find them.
Final Review
- Check for spelling and grammar mistakes.
- Make sure the design is not cluttered and that titles, icons, and text are aligned properly.
